Charlotte Sear has attended The Art Students League and has studied privately with Will Baum and Dee Shapiro. Acrylic is her primary medium. She has exhibited in solo and group art shows. Her work is involved with responding to both the fleeting and lasting moments in life. Each painting is a narrative of her impressions of these moments. The use of bold, rich, exciting colors and geometric forms enhance the mixture of fantasy and reality that comprises her work. Gallery 4 portrays scenes of Columbia County, NY, abstracting key elements of the rural and town life that show a world that is fadung away but remains within our consciousness.
